    Program Description

    The Department of Applied Physics and Electronics has developed lab courses that stress the importance of teamwork and educational courses using information technology in order to produce future-oriented scientists with knowledge of physics and semiconductor engineering theories as well as skills to design electronic control systems. In addition to offering courses that will help students later find jobs in the real world, the department also helps connect them with graduates so that they can gain a competitive edge.

      Program Description

      The Department of Fine Chemistry and New Materials fosters experts with practical and specialized knowledge in the areas of semiconductors, nano-materials, biotechnology, environmental and analytical chemistry, cosmetics manufacture, drug synthesis, functional polymers, etc. It is also equipped with five labs as well as state-of-the-art equipment and materials that are valued at nearly KRW 5 billion in total.

            Program Description

Smart construction engineering fields include roads, dams, harbors, waterworks and sewerage systems, bridges, tunnels, high-speed railroads, railroads, and more.

                Program Description

                The fundamental objective of the Department of Information and Communications Software Engineering is to foster information and communications engineers in order to meet the growing demands for convergence of cutting-edge information and communications technologies.                     Department of Firefighting Engineering

                    Program Description

                    The Department of Firefighting Engineering aims to train firefighting professionals who can help protect lives and properties against fires and various other disasters and accidents and develop firefighting technologies.
                    Generally, firefighting engineering refers to a discipline that consists of architecture, machinery, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, and other fields. The objective is to help protect people’s safety and essentially raise the quality of life.
                    In addition to imparting knowledge of related theories and developing firefighting technology, the department focuses on nurturing the competence to serve as firefighters, based on diverse lab and practical courses at the firefighting machinery lab, firefighting electrical lab, firefighting and disaster prevention lab, firefighting computer-aided design (CAD) lab.

                          Program Description

                          Motor vehicle are constantly evolving. Green cars, such as hybrid cars, electric vehicles, and hydrogen fuel cell cars, have been developed to protect the environment and to prepare for the eventual depletion of fossil fuels. Self-driving cars are expected to become commercialized in the near future using the technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and they will boost safety and convenience for drivers. In order to develop such smart automobiles, there is a need to fuse together the areas of automotive engineering, computer science, and electrical and electronic engineering. Accordingly, the Department of Smart Automotive Engineering is offering convergence education to foster automotive engineers who are capable of developing autonomous vehicles and electric vehicles and designing smart cars and their components.
